The 2009 International Open and User Innovation Workshop will be hosted jointly by Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and the Kühne School of Logistics and Management. The meeting is geared towards academics with a strong research interest in the field of open and user innovation. The main emphasis is the process of collaborative innovation based upon an information commons as is practiced in (but not limited to) open source and user innovation communities. We would like to invite any academic who is pursuing research or is considering pursuing research in this area.

We welcome participants with a variety of backgrounds including but not limited to Economics, Strategy, Management, Organizations, Marketing, Sociology, and Law.

Hamburg is not only the most beautiful city in the world (at least that’s what you hear on Hamburg radio stations each morning), but also centrally located in Northern Germany and easy to reach by car, train, or plane. The city offers a broad variety of accommodation and excellent local transport, thus making your journey easy and comfortable.
